Join us for a weaving exchange and increase your handwoven towel stash. Participants will each bring four towels and will leave with four wonderful new towels. To participate, click "register" then on the next page, complete your registration. For assistance, please call HGA at (678) 730-0010 Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM ET. We look forward to seeing you in New Orleans!
Guidelines

Towels must be woven from cotton, linen, hemp, or any combination of these fibers.

Finished size is to be 18” x 25”. Please plan ahead to address shrinkage and pull-in.

Please finish with a hem, either hand-sewn or machine-sewn.

Weave four towels.

Optional: Weave a fifth towel to donate to New Orleans' Habitat for Humanity.

Download and complete the Textile Exchange Worksheet

Include a copy of the draft and treadling, thread samples, and source with each towel.

Include your name, contact information, and any additional information you would like to share with your towel recipients.

Towels must be delivered (in person or appoint someone) between 4 and 5 PM on Friday, August 14, 2026, to the Sheraton New Orleans in Louisiana.

At 5 PM on Friday, August 14, 2026, we will exchange towels.
Photography Release: By registering for Convergence®, I understand that I give HGA permission to use (display, publish, etc.) any photograph(s) made of me at this conference for HGA marketing purposes, including advertising and publicity in print and electronic environments.
